The efficiency of air conditioners is often rated by the seasonal energy efficiency ratio which is defined by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute in its 2017 standard AHRI 210/240, Performance Rating of Unitary Air-Conditioning.

The Goodman® Air Conditioner uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A and features the unique Goodman® sound control top design for quiet operation. In addition, the unit has an attractive louvered metal guard that protects the coil from damage plus a powder-paint finish that provides premium durability and improved UV protection.
The Goodman furnace features a two stage gas valve, variable-speed blower motor, and provides exceptional indoor comfort and quiet operation.

Relocating Your Condensing Unit
Changing the location of an HVAC system component can be necessary and beneficial to accommodate changes made to your home; such as improving its aesthetics, access, move it to improve noise reduction or for code compliance.
R6 Duct Work
Insulated Flexible Duct R6 Silver Jacket is used in standard Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and some venting applications. The duct has R6 insulation which contains 33% more insulation than the standard R4 product. This additional insulation provides greater thermal efficiency to save energy. When ductwork travels through space such as an attic that isn’t heated and cooled, it should be insulated to prevent energy loss. The product is also covered in a heavy duty, silver jacket for durability.
R8 Duct Work
R8 ducting offers greater thermal efficiency due to its thicker insulation. Due to the efficiency of R8 ducting your energy utility bills could be much lower. Insulated R8 ducts reduces energy loss by approximately 2%, which is equivalent to consuming less energy by 3%. The duct has R8 insulation which contains 50% more insulation than the standard R4.2.

Benefits of Zoning Systems
Zoning systems allow you to accommodate those different comfort needs, while also helping you save energy. You should also consider zoned HVAC if you have large windows in your home, a top floor that’s always warmer than lower floors, rooms that you seldom use or that feel stuffy, or special areas like a home office or gym that need additional cooling.
Instead of setting one temperature for your entire house, zoning systems let you create as many as four temperature-controlled “zones,” so you don’t waste energy overheating or overcooling other areas. In fact, when used with a programmable thermostat, zoning can mean energy savings of up to 35%.*
Damper panels receive information about the desired temperature in each zone. It then controls the dampers to produce airflow that satisfies the heating and cooling in each zone.
